Wheat Atta Upma

Ingredients

1 bowl of wheat atta
2 onions finely chopped
4 green chillies sliced
1/2 tsp musturd seeds
1/2 tsp jeera
2 bowl hot water
3 tsp lime juice
1 tsp sugar
salt as per taste
corriander for garnishing

Preparation

Take a pan once the pan is heated add 1 bowl of wheat atta and fry on a low flame till it gives you a nice smell. Now take another pan add oil, once oil is heated add musturd seeds, jeera,chopped onions and green chillies fry them till they are half cooked,now add the wheat atta and fry for a minute add salt and sugar and stir well.now take the hot water and slowly add to the pan stiring continously.Do not add  to much of water just add as required for upma so that wheat atta gets cooked.close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. take it out of the flame add lime juice and corriander leaves and mix well and serve it hot.

Bread Upma

Ingredients

6 slices of bread crushed roughly
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp musturd seeds
1/2 tsp jeera
2 onions finely chopped
1 capsium finely chopped
1 carrot grated
1/2 red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
2 tsp water
salt as per taste
corriander leaves for garnishing

Preparation

Take a pan add 2 tsp of oil, once oil is heated add musturd seeds,let the musturds crackle then add jeera, now add onions,
Capsicum and the grated carrot and fry them till they are cooked. Add red chilli powder and cumin powder, stir well,now add the bread crumps and saltas per your taste and mix well. sprinkle some water and close the lid of the pan and cook for one minute. Garnish the dish with corriander leaves and serve hot.    







Suji ka Kheer

Ingredients

1 liter Milk
150 gms sugar
2 tsp of Suji or Rawa
2 tsp of ghee
1 tsp of Milk Masala 
crushed dry fruits
Kesar for Garnishing

Preparation

Boil the milk for 10 minutes. Take a small pan and add 2tsp of ghee,once heated add the 2 tsp of suji and crushed dry fruits and fry for a minute,now add this complete mixture to the boiling milk and 1 tsp of milk masala and cook for another 5to10 minutes.Garnish with kesar and the suji kheer is ready to serve. You can serve it hot or cold as per ones prefference.
